Joe and Kaila Harper are a Colorado based wedding photography and videography duo specializing in film and digital wedding photography and super 8 wedding films with an artistic documentary approach. With backgrounds in Fine Art and fashion photography, they bring an editorial eye with a thoughtful approach to documenting weddings, capturing moments that feel honest, elevated, and full of life.

Their work is rooted in storytelling, with a focus on candid emotion, and the in between moments that make each celebration unique. Many of the couples they work with are creatives themselves, or simply people drawn to thoughtful artistry, visual storytelling, and imagery that captures not only how a moment looked, but how it felt.

Their clients tend to value connection over perfection, approaching their wedding day with a laid back presence and an appreciation for beauty and meaningful experiences. Known for their calm presence and intuitive approach, Joe and Kaila move through wedding days with a natural rhythm, immersing themselves in the energy of the day while creating space for couples to simply be present.

When they are not photographing weddings, they are likely somewhere off the grid with their border collie, Mila, camping, fishing, or running trails until sunset. Their off duty life is built around fresh air, movement, and a constant pull toward the next place that feels worth exploring.
